Visits and online workshops for primary schools

Connect with the Wallace Collection’s world-class art collection through interactive museum visits and online sessions designed for KS1-2.

Get to know characters from classical myths, delve into portraits from the past, or check out different styles of armour and discover what they can tell us about our own identities.

Pupils will expand their knowledge and ideas through interactive gallery sessions, and get hands-on creative experience in studio workshops.

Teachers can support their visit using the gallery’s teacher resources that draw links between the curriculum and the collection, providing key object information, activity ideas and supporting materials.

Dates: Available to book Monday to Friday, between 10am and 3pm.

Art Forms: Visual Arts, Heritage

Curriculum Links: History

Cost: Free for UK schools. The gallery recommends one session per class, and can accommodate up to two classes at a time.
